In my search for solutions to make music with disabled children, I found this cool program.

It's called GridPlay.

You can use your mouse pointer, in combination with the mouse buttons, to trigger the sounds.  The program is very afordable, costing only  $60,- Each volume has 15 different grids you can load into the GridPlayer. A grid uses one or more of the 127 sounds that are part of  your windows machine.

You can buy GridPlay L1 or L2 on http://www.fullpitcher.co.uk/software.htm

At the rehabilitation centre where I work there are kids that can use a mouse pointer but handling the mouse buttons is imposible for them.  That made me think "get rid of the mouse clicks and we have a solution for some of the pupils with the least access"

To make this happen, my son Joris programmed "Sticky Right mouse button" and it worked!

You can download "Sticky Right mouse button" for FREE.
Download StickyRightMouseButton

Once you have installed "Sticky Right mouse button" and you run it, an icon appears in the tool bar.

After this, you have only to hit F12 and your right mouse button is sticky, meaning that you can trigger the sound as your mouse pointer enters each cell, without having to manually hold down the button. A simple right mouse click de-activates "Sticky" again.

N.B If you have MIDI IN/OUT on your computer system, you can use GridPlay to play external sound devices such as sound-modules, keyboards and samplers."
